The 2024–25 North Dakota Fighting Hawks women's basketball team represents the University of North Dakota during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Fighting Hawks, led by fifth-year head coach Mallory Bernhard, play their home games at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota, as members of the Summit League. Previous season The Fighting Hawks finished the 2023–24 season 9–21, 5–11 in Summit League play, to finish in a tie for sixth place. They were defeated by Oral Roberts in the quarterfinals of the Summit League tournament. Preseason On October 8, 2024, the Summit League released the preseason coaches poll. The Betty Engelstad Sioux Center (The Betty) is an indoor arena located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. It is adjacent to the larger $100 million Ralph Engelstad Arena in the University Village development. The facility sits on the campus of the University of North Dakota and is used for the university's basketball and volleyball teams. The facility opened in August 2004. The 2024–25 Denver Pioneers women's basketball team represented the University of Denver during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Pioneers, who were led by fifth-year head coach Doshia Woods, played their home games at Hamilton Gymnasium in Denver, Colorado as members of the Summit League. The Pioneers finished the season 9–21, 2–14 in Summit League play, to finish in ninth (last) place. They lost in the first round of the Summit League tournament to Omaha. Walnut Grove Secondary School (WGSS) is located in the community of Walnut Grove in Langley, British Columbia. It has an enrollment of over 2,000 students, making it the largest school in Langley and one of the largest schools in the Vancouver region.
