2024–25 NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Season
The 2024–25 NCAA Division III men's ice hockey season began on November 1, 2024, and will conclude on March 30, 2025. This was the 52nd season of NCAA Division III, Division III college ice hockey. Regular season Realignment With Misericordia Cougars men's ice hockey, Misericordia adding ice hockey as a varsity sport, the Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) had six conference members sponsoring varsity ice hockey (the minimum number required for an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III men's ice hockey tournament, NCAA tournament). As a result, MAC, who had been sponsoring ice hockey since 2017, was able to finally form an independent conference for the first time. Five of the six member teams had been in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference, UCHC and all announced that they would be leaving in 2024. Adirondack Bank Center
The Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium is a 3,860-seat multi-purpose arena in Utica, New York, with a capacity of 5,700 for concerts. Nicknamed the Aud, it is the home arena of the Utica Comets, the American Hockey League, AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League, NHL's New Jersey Devils, and Utica City FC of the Major Arena Soccer League.
