2024–25 America East Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2024–25 America East men's basketball season began with practices in September 2024 and will end with the 2025 America East men's basketball tournament in March 2025. This is the 45th year of competition in men's basketball for the America East Conference. Head coaches ''Notes:'' * Season and record numbers include 2024–25 season. NCAA Division I (D-I) is the highest division of intercollegiate athletics sanctioned by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States, which accepts players globally. Northeastern Huskies Men's Basketball
The Northeastern Huskies men's basketball team represents Northeastern University, located in Boston, Massachusetts, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. The Vermont Catamounts men's basketball team is the men's basketball team that represents the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. The school's team currently competes in the America East Conference and plays its home games at Patrick Gym. John Becker (basketball)
John Becker (born April 17, 1968) is an American college basketball coach, currently the head coach of the Vermont Catamounts of the America East Conference. He replaced Mike Lonergan, who left to become the coach at George Washington University. On January 5, 2023, Becker became the winningest coach in Vermont history, with a 74–64 win over Bryant, surpassing Tom Brennan. Coaching career Gallaudet/Catholic University Becker's college coaching career began in 1994 when he became an assistant at Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. In 1997, Becker was elevated to head coach of the Bison, where he served from 1997 to 1999.
