The 2023–24 Virginia Tech Hokies women's basketball team represented Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. Kenny Brooks
Kenneth R. Brooks Jr. (born December 20, 1968) is the head coach of the University of Kentucky women's basketball team. Career Brooks played collegiate basketball at James Madison under coach Lefty Driesell. After serving as the interim head coach for the 2002–03 season, Brooks was introduced as the James Madison University women's basketball head coach on March 21, 2003. During the 2013–14 season, the James Madison University women's basketball team upset the 6-seed Gonzaga in the NCAA tournament. It was JMU's first NCAA tournament victory since 1991. Brooks has the most regular season game victories in James Madison's women's basketball program history (337), having surpassed Shelia Moorman (302) in 2015. Elizabeth Kitley
Elizabeth Ann Kitley (born September 17, 2001) is an American professional basketball player for the Las Vegas Aces of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She played college basketball at Virginia Tech. She was drafted 24th overall in the 2024 WNBA draft by the Aces. Early life Kitley grew up playing basketball, softball and volleyball, preferring softball by fifth grade. Michael Voepel is an American sportswriter. He has reported on women's sports for ESPN since 1996 and has been described by the company as "the foremost authority on women's basketball".
