2023–24 Utah Tech Trailblazers Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Utah Tech Trailblazers men's basketball team represented Utah Tech University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Trailblazers, led by 19th-year head coach Jon Judkins, played their home games at Burns Arena in St. George, Utah as members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 11–20, 7–13 in WAC play to finish in ninth place, and thus they did not qualify to play in the WAC Tournament. This season marked Utah Tech's final year of a four-year transition period from Division II to Division I. As a result, the Trailblazers were not eligible to play in the NCAA tournament, but were eligible to play in the WAC tournament. Jon Judkins
Jon Judkins (born March 3, 1964) is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Utah Tech Trailblazers men's basketball team. Playing career After a season at Dixie College (now Utah Tech University), Judkins transferred to Utah State where he was the first Aggie to post a triple-double, and was part of the team's 1988 NCAA tournament bid. Coaching career After graduation, Judkins joined the coaching staff at Snow College, where he was an assistant until 1993, when he was elevated to head coach. Over the next 12 seasons, he posted a 284–128 record before joining Utah Tech in 2005, guiding the team through its transition from junior college to NCAA status, first in Division II and in 2020, Division I as the Trailblazers join the Western Athletic Conference. Hawaii Rainbow Warriors Basketball
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors basketball team represents the University of Hawaii at Mānoa in National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA men's competition. (women's sports teams at the school are known as "Rainbow Wahine"). The team currently competes in the Big West Conference after leaving its longtime home of the Western Athletic Conference in July 2012. Lehi High School
Lehi High School is a public high school in Lehi, Utah. The school mascot is the Pioneer, specifically Pioneer Pete, in honor of the city being founded in 1850 by a group of Mormon pioneers. The school has progressed from 3A to 6A in the last five years due to rapid population growth in Lehi, attributed to Silicon Slopes. History In the late 1800s, the students met in the attic of the old Central School, but as patrons demanded more structure and formality for their students in the secondary grades, Lehi High School was created in 1908. Lehi ( ) is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States. The population was 75,907 at the 2020 United States Census, 2020 census, up from 47,407 in 2010, and it is the center of population of Utah. Garden City Community College (Garden City CC or GCCC) is a public community college in Garden City, Kansas. It was established in 1919 to provide a means for post-secondary education for area residents. The school initially shared facilities in Sabine Hall and Calkins Hall in the 100 block of Buffalo Jones Avenue with Garden City High School and opened with a first class of less than three dozen students.
