2023–24 UT Martin Skyhawks Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 UT Martin Skyhawks men's basketball team represented the University of Tennessee at Martin during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Skyhawks, led by third-year head coach Ryan Ridder, played their home games at Skyhawk Arena located in Martin, Tennessee as members of the Ohio Valley Conference. Previous season The Skyhawks finished the 2022–23 season 19–14, 10–8 in OVC play to finish in a tie for third place. As the No. 3 seed in the OVC tournament, they defeated SIU Edwardsville, before losing to Tennessee Tech in the semifinals. Ryan Ridder
Ryan Ridder (born November 11, 1984) is an American college basketball coach and current head coach for the Mercer Bears men's basketball team. He previously served as the head coach at Bethune–Cookman and UT Martin. Coaching career After completing a playing career at Embry-Riddle under his father, Steve, Ridder got his coaching start at North Raleigh Christian Academy as an assistant coach before returning to his alma mater as an assistant a year later. Ridder served as an assistant at Campbell for three seasons before taking the head coaching job at Daytona State College. The Murray State Racers men's basketball program represents Murray State University in intercollegiate men's basketball. Murray State is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), having joined that conference in 2022 after 74 seasons in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Racers have played home games at the CFSB Center on their campus in Murray, Kentucky since 1998. Murray State made its 18th appearance in the NCAA tournament in 2022. The Troy Trojans men's basketball program is the intercollegiate men's basketball of Troy University. The program is classified in NCAA Division I and the team competes in the Sun Belt Conference. Newnan High School (NHS) is a public high school in southwestern Coweta County, Georgia, United States. It is located south of Newnan's historic downtown district.
