The 2023–24 UNC Greensboro Spartans men's basketball team represented the University of North Carolina at Greensboro during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Spartans, led by third-year head coach Mike Jones (basketball, born 1965), Mike Jones, played their home games at the Greensboro Coliseum and Fleming Gymnasium in Greensboro, North Carolina as members of the Southern Conference (SoCon). Previous season The 2022–23 UNC Greensboro Spartans men's basketball team, Spartans finished the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season with a record of 20–12, 14–4 in 2021–22 Southern Conference men's basketball season, SoCon play, to finish in third place. Mike Jones (basketball, Born 1965)
Michael Ray Jones (born April 30, 1965) is an American college basketball coach and former player who is the head coach at UNC Greensboro. Jones' father, Jimmy, was a star guard in the ABA from 1967 to 1974. In 1974, Jimmy Jones signed with the Washington Bullets in the NBA, where he remained until 1977. Mike Jones spent 10 years as head men's basketball coach at Radford. During his time there, he was named Big South Conference Coach of the Year in 2018 and 2020. While at Radford, Jones coached Javonte Green, Radford's first NBA Player. Bergen op Zoom (; called ''Berrege'' in the local dialect) is a city and municipality in southwestern Netherlands. It is located in the province of North Brabant, at the provincial border with Zeeland. In 2025, the municipality had a population of 70,216. Etymology The city was built on a site where two types of soil meet: sandy soil and marine clay. The sandy soil pushed against the marine clay, accumulating and forming hills over several centuries.
