2023–24 Supercopa De España Femenina
The 2023–24 Supercopa de España Femenina was the fifth edition of the current Supercopa de España Femenina, an annual women's football competition for clubs in the Spanish football league system that were successful in its major competitions in the preceding season. Barcelona defended the title after defeating Levante 7–0 in the final, to win the competition for the third consecutive season and a record fourth time overall. Draw The draw for the competition was held on 29 December 2023. On 15 January, the referees Ainara Andrea Acevedo Dudley and Marta Huerta de Aza were chosen to officiate in the semi-finals. The final took place at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque in Leganés on 20 January 2024, and was officiated by referee Olatz Rivera Olmedo. Supercopa De España Femenina
The Supercopa de España Femenina or the ''Spanish Women's Super Cup'' is a super cup tournament in Spanish football, contested by the winners and runners up of the Copa de la Reina and the remaining highest ranked teams from the Primera División that had not already qualified through the cup final. History From 1997 to 2000, four editions of the Supercopa were played between the winners of the League and the Copa de la Reina, with San Vicente CFF winning its first edition, Atlético Málaga the second, Eibartarrak FT achieving the third edition and Levante (after absorbing San Vicente) winning the last. The competition was re-instated in December 2019 by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. 2022–23 Liga F
The 2022–23 Primera División Femenina de Fútbol season, renamed Liga F (finetwork Liga F for sponsorship reasons), was the 35th edition of the Primera División Femenina de España de fútbol, and the first edition with professional status in its history. The tournament was organized by the ''Liga Profesional Femenina de Fútbol (LPFF)''. The competition was supposed to start on 10 September 2022, but the first week matches were postponed. As a result, the competition started on 17 September 2022, and ended on 21 May 2023. Barcelona were the defending champions after winning undefeated the previous season. They defended the title with 28 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat.
