2023–24 Segunda División De Fútbol Salvadoreño
The 2023–24 season (officially known as ''Liga de Plata'' and also as ''TBD'') will be El Salvador's Segunda División de Fútbol Salvadoreño. The season will be split into two championships Apertura 2023 and Clausura 2024. The champions of the Apertura and Clausura play the direct promotion playoff every year. The winner of that series ascends to Primera División de Fútbol de El Salvador. Cesar Acevedo
Cesar Acevedo (born 5 September 1953) is a retired football player from El Salvador and currently head coach of Nuevo San Sebastian. Career Acevedo spent his entire playing career at FAS in the primera division scoring 47 goals. He was part of the FAS squad that won the 1979 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. He played for the El Salvador national football team, appearing in the 1978 FIFA World Cup qualifying rounds against Panama on 2 May 1976. Juan Ramón Paredes Zelaya (born 23 May 1950) is a former Salvadoran professional football player and currently the manager of Cangrejera FC of the Tercera Division. Coaching career Alianza Paredes became the coach of Alianza at the beginning of the 2000 season. He went on to win the Apertura 2001; in the process, Paredes became the first (and, so far, only) Salvadoran to win a title with Alianza as coach. The 2022–23 Primera División de El Salvador, also known as the Liga Pepsi, is the 24th season and 46th and 47th Primera División tournament, El Salvador's top football division, since its establishment of an Apertura and Clausura format.
