2023–24 Real Sociedad Season
The 2023–24 season was Real Sociedad's 114th season in existence and 14th consecutive season in La Liga. They also competed in the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League, returning to the top European club tournament after a nine-year absence. This was the club's first season since 2014–15 without Asier Illarramendi, who departed to join American club FC Dallas. Real Sociedad
Real Sociedad de Fútbol, more commonly referred to as Real Sociedad ( ; ''Royal Society'') in English, and Erreala or Reala in Basque language, Basque, is a Spanish professional sports club in the city of San Sebastián, Donostia / San Sebastián, Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country, founded on 7 September 1909. It plays its home matches at the Anoeta Stadium. 2014–15 Real Sociedad Season
The 2014–15 season was Real Sociedad's 68th season in La Liga. This article shows player statistics and all matches (official and friendly) that the club played during the 2014–15 season. Season summary In the summer of 2014, Antoine Griezmann was sold to Atlético Madrid while top forward Carlos Vela missed the early stages of the season due to fitness issues. Most performances during pre-season were poor. Real Sociedad faced Scottish side Aberdeen in the UEFA Europa League Third qualifying round. Real Socieded progressed 5–2 on aggregate, although the second leg, away from home, was far from convincing. In the next round, Real Sociedad were emphatically beaten by Russian club Krasnodar. Sheraldo Becker
Sheraldo Rudi Salomo Willem Becker (born 9 February 1995) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for La Liga club Real Sociedad. Born in the Netherlands, he plays for the Suriname national team. Becker started his professional debut at Ajax reserve team in 2013. He went on to play for PEC Zwolle and ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie before joining a Bundesliga side, Union Berlin in 2019. Carlos Fernández Luna (born 22 May 1996) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a forward for La Liga club Real Sociedad. Club career Sevilla Born in Castilleja de Guzmán, Province of Seville, Andalusia, Fernández started playing senior football with Sevilla FC's reserve team at only 17, competing in the Segunda División B. Mikel Merino
Mikel Merino Zazón (; born 22 June 1996) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Arsenal and the Spain national team. After starting out at Osasuna, he had short spells with Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United before signing for Real Sociedad in 2018. Aritz Elustondo Irribarria (born 28 March 1994) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays mainly as a right-back but also as a central defender for La Liga club Real Sociedad.
