Matt Painter
Matthew Curtis Painter (born August 27, 1970) is an American basketball coach and former player, who is the current and 19th head coach of the Purdue Boilermakers men's basketball, Purdue Boilermakers, serving in that role since 2005. He played college basketball at Purdue from 1989 to 1993. He was also the head coach of the Southern Illinois Salukis men's basketball, Southern Illinois Salukis from 2003 to 2004. Painter was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He attended high school at Delta High School (Muncie, Indiana), Delta High School in Muncie, Indiana. Braden Smith (born July 25, 2003) is an American college basketball player for the Purdue Boilermakers of the Big Ten Conference. Early life and high school career Smith was born in Russellville, Arkansas and moved with his family to Westfield, Indiana at age four. He attended Westfield High School and made the varsity basketball team as a freshman. Richard Carl Mount (born January 5, 1947) is an American former professional basketball player who played for Purdue University from 1966 to 1970 as well as the American Basketball Association (ABA).
