2023–24 President's Trophy
The 2023–24 President's Trophy was a first-class domestic cricket competition played in Pakistan. The tournament was originally scheduled to be played from 16 December 2023 to 31 January 2024, however, the final was later rescheduled to begin on 6 February 2024. The final was rescheduled a second time to 9 February and moved from Karachi to Rawalpindi. It was played by seven departmental teams, across three venues in Karachi and one venue in Rawalpindi. In December 2023, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the fixtures for the tournament. It marked the return of departmental cricket in Pakistan since the 2018–19 season. Although eight teams were originally scheduled to participate, Sui Southern Gas Company pulled out of the tournament. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), formerly known as Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan (BCCP), is a sports governing body for cricket in Pakistan responsible for controlling and organising all tours and matches undertaken by the Pakistan national cricket team. Mohammad Shehzad
Mohammad Shehzad (Punjabi and Urdu: ; born 5 February 2004), also spelled as Muhammad Shehzad, is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Multan. In March 2025, he was picked by Islamabad United for the 2025 Pakistan Super League. Early career Born in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, Shehzad began to play hard-ball cricket in 2015 and in 2018, at the age of 14, he moved to Lahore, learning cricket in its PakLand Cricket Academy. Saud Shakeel
Saud Shakeel (born 5 September 1995) is a Pakistani international cricketer who is the current vice-captain of the Pakistan cricket team in test cricket. He made his international and ODI debut for the Pakistan cricket team in July 2021. He made his Test debut against England in December 2022. Asad Shafiq (; born 28 January 1986) is a Pakistani former cricketer who played for the Pakistan national cricket team between 2010 and 2020. Azhar Ali (Punjabi:اظہر علی; born 19 February 1985) is a Pakistani former international cricketer. He is former captain of ODI and test side of Pakistan national team.
