2023–24 Presbyterian Blue Hose Women's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Presbyterian Blue Hose women's basketball team represented Presbyterian College during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Blue Hose, led by sixth-year head coach Alaura Sharp, played their home games at the Templeton Physical Education Center in Clinton, South Carolina as members of the Big South Conference. Previous season The Blue Hose finished the 2022–23 NCAA Division I women's basketball season, 2022–23 season 13–17, 9–9 in Big South play, to finish in a tie for fourth place. Alaura Sharp
Alaura Sharp is an American college basketball coach and is the current head coach of the Appalachian State Mountaineers women's basketball team. She previously served as the head coach of the Presbyterian Blue Hose women's basketball team from 2018 to 2024. At Presbyterian, she led her team to their first ever 2024 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, NCAA Tournament and their first ever NCAA tournament win when they beat the 2023–24 Sacred Heart Pioneers women's basketball team, Sacred Heart Pioneers 49–42 in a First Four matchup. Coaching career Sharp played basketball for the women's basketball team at Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs, Southwest Minnesota State University.
