The 2023–24 Odisha Women's League was the 11th edition of the Odisha Women's League, the top Odia professional football league, since its establishment in 2011. Odisha FC are the defending champions, but are not participating in the current edition. The league is organised by the Football Association of Odisha (FAO), the official football governing body of Odisha, in association with the Department of Sports and Youth Services (DSYS) of the Government of Odisha. Odisha Women's League
The Odisha Women's League (OWL), also known as the FAO Women's League, is the women's top division association football, football league of Odisha, India. The league is among the existing top tier women's football leagues in India. The league is organised every year by the apex football governing body of Odisha, the Football Association of Odisha (FAO), in association with the Department of Sports and Youth Services (DSYS) of the Government of Odisha. It is currently contested by 6 clubs across the state. Since the inception of the Odisha Women's League, a total of four clubs have been crowned champions. East Coast Railway zone, East Coast Railway and Rising Students Club have won the most titles in league history, being crowned champions thrice. Nita Football Academy
Nita Football Academy is an Indian women's professional football club and academy based in Radha Damodarpur, Cuttack, Odisha. It is the first private residential football academy of Odisha, dedicated to promoting football among underprivileged girls. They are the current champions of the Odisha Women's League and Khelo India State Championships U-17. Many of the academy students have represented at sub-junior, junior, and senior national levels. They finished as runners-up in the 2023–24 season of the Indian Women's League 2, which enabled promotion to the top tier Indian Women's League. Sports Odisha
Sports Odisha is an Indian institutional multisports club based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It is owned by Government of Odisha and most of the club's players are selected from the Odisha State Sports Hostel scheme, due to which the team also competes as Odisha Sports Hostel. The men's team competes in the FAO League at the state tier and in the 2023–24 season qualified for I-League 3, the fourth-tier men's professional football league in India. The 2022–23 Odisha Women's League was the 10th edition of the Odisha Women's League, the top Odia professional football league, since its establishment in 2011. Odisha Police are the defending champions. The league is organised by the Football Association of Odisha (FAO), the official football governing body of Odisha, in association with the Department of Sports and Youth Services (DSYS) of the Government of Odisha. Odisha Football Club () is an Indian professional football club based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. Prior to the inaugural Indian Super League season, the club was founded as ''Delhi Dynamos Football Club''. In 2019, prior to the 2019–20 Indian Super League season, the club rebranded to ''Odisha Football Club'', and relocated to its current base, the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. 2023–24 Indian Women's League 2
The 2023–24 Indian Women's League 2 was the first season of the Indian Women's League 2, the second tier women's football league in India. Format The Group stage was initially to consist of the 24 teams divided into six groups of four each, in the round-robin format, with the winners of every group proceeding to the final round. The final round will constitute of a single-leg round-robin format, with the top two teams gaining promotion to the Indian Women's League. It will be held at a centralised venue.
