The 2023–24 New York Rangers season was the franchise's 97th season of play and their 98th season overall. The National Hockey League's Metropolitan Division (often referred to simply as the "Metro Division") was formed in 2013 as one of the two divisions in the Eastern Conference (NHL), Eastern Conference as part of a league realignment. Louis Boileau-Domingue (born March 6, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender for the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Domingue was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in the fifth round, 138th overall, of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, with whom he spent the first portion of his career. Blake James Wheeler (born August 31, 1986) is an American professional ice hockey player who is an unrestricted free agent. He has previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Boston Bruins, Atlanta Thrashers/Winnipeg Jets, and New York Rangers. He was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the first round, fifth overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Filip Chytil (; born 5 September 1999) is a Czech professional ice hockey centre for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the first round, 21st overall, in the 2017 NHL entry draft. Internationally, Chytil played for the Czech Republic national team in several tournaments. Playing career Chytil played for PSG Zlín of the Czech Extraliga during the 2016–17 season. The 2024 NHL Stadium Series was a series of two outdoor regular season National Hockey League (NHL) games that were played during the 2023–24 NHL season.
