2023–24 Missouri State Bears Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Missouri State Bears basketball team represented Missouri State University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bears, led by sixth-year head coach Dana Ford, played their home games at the Great Southern Bank Arena located in Springfield, Missouri as members of the Missouri Valley Conference. Previous Season The Bears finished the 2022–23 season 17–15, 12–8 in MVC play to finish in sixth place. They defeated UIC in the opening round of the MVC tournament, before losing in the quarterfinals to Southern Illinois. Dana Ford
Dana Ford (born June 9, 1984) is an American college basketball coach who is an assistant coach at SMU. He was formerly the head coach at Missouri State University from March 21, 2018 until he was relieved of his duties on March 10, 2024. Prior to coaching the Bears, he was the head coach at Tennessee State from 2014 through the 2018 season. Ford is a former basketball player, having played at Illinois State from 2002 to 2006. After not being selected in the 2006 NBA draft, the Tamms, Illinois native joined the Tennessee State Tigers coaching staff under head coach John Cooper. He has previously been with Wichita State and Illinois State through his coaching career, playing a key role in the teams' recruiting and overall success. Greenwood Laboratory School
Greenwood Laboratory School is a comprehensive K–12 laboratory school affiliated with, and located on the campus of, Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, United States. Enrollment The school has an enrollment of approximately 374 students, and about 30 or so faculty members. As of 2011, approximately 120 students were enrolled in the high school. The Saint Peter's Peacocks men's basketball team is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's basketball program that represents Saint Peter's University in Jersey City, New Jersey. The Valparaiso Beacons men's basketball team represents Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. The Xavier Musketeers men's basketball team represents Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. The school's team currently competes in the Big East Conference. Overtime Elite is a basketball league for 16–20-year-olds, based in Atlanta, Georgia. The league is owned and operated by Overtime and was founded by Dan Porter and Zack Weiner.
