2023–24 Milwaukee Panthers Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Milwaukee Panthers men's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Panthers, led by second-year head coach Bart Lundy, played their home games at the UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and select games at the on-campus Klotsche Center as members of the Horizon League. Previous season The Panthers finished the 2022–23 season in second place in the Horizon League with a record of 22–12, including 14–6 in conference play. They received a first-round bye in the Horizon League tournament, defeating seventh-seeded Wright State in the quarterfinals at the Klotsche Center before losing to third-seeded Cleveland State in Indianapolis in the semifinals. Bart Lundy
Bart Lundy (born November 5, 1971) is an American men's college basketball coach, who currently holds the head coach position for the Milwaukee Panthers men's basketball team. He was head coach at Queens University of Charlotte from 2013–2022, and previously an assistant coach at the University of North Texas from 2012–2013. Before going to North Texas, Lundy was the Director of Basketball Operations at Marquette University from 2009–2012. He is a native of Galax, Virginia. During his college years he played at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke before transferring to Lenoir–Rhyne University. Before moving to Marquette, he was the head coach of the men's basketball team at High Point University from 2003–2009. Gibson is a town in Scotland County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 540 at the 2010 census. History Gibson was originally located in Richmond County, North Carolina. A post office was built in the area in 1846, and the town was named for its first postmaster, Noah Gibson. The SIU Edwardsville Cougars men's basketball team represents Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) in the Ohio Valley Conference of NCAA Division I basketball.
