2023–24 Fresno State Bulldogs Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Fresno State Bulldogs men's basketball team represented California State University, Fresno in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bulldogs were led by head coach Justin Hutson in his sixth and final season. The Bulldogs played their home games at the Save Mart Center as members of the Mountain West Conference. Previous season The Bulldogs finished the 2022–23 season 11–20, 6–12 in Mountain West play to finish in a tie for eight place. They lost to Colorado State in the first round of the MWC tournament. Justin Hutson
Justin Lee Hutson (born October 16, 1971) is an American college basketball coach who is an assistant for the San Diego State Aztecs women's basketball team, a position he has held since 2024. He was previously the San Diego Toreros in the beginning of 2024. He was also the head coach of the Fresno State Bulldogs men's basketball team from 2018 to 2024. Playing career Hutson began his college basketball career at two junior colleges, first Bakersfield College in 1989–90 then Ventura College from 1990 to 1992. From 1992 to 1994, Hutson played at Cal State Bakersfield, which was NCAA Division II at the time. Hutson was a member of the Roadrunners' 1993 NCAA Championship and 1994 NCAA Championship squads. Coaching career In 1998, Hutson got his coaching start at his alma mater as an assistant coach for two seasons before moving on to become the head boys' basketball coach at Bakersfield HS from 2000 to 2004. The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball team that represents Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW). They have been a member of the Horizon League since 2020 (departing from the Summit League after thirteen years). Formerly, they represented the now defunct Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). The team has yet to participate in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. The Utah Tech Trailblazers men's basketball team represents Utah Tech University (formerly known as Dixie State), in St. George, Utah as a member of NCAA Division I and the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
