The 2023–24 season is the 135th season in the history of Forest Green Rovers and their first season back in League Two since the 2021–22 season following their relegation from League One in the previous season. The club are participating in League Two, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the EFL Trophy. Tommy Simkin
Tommy James Simkin (born 8 December 2004) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for EFL League One club Leyton Orient on loan from Stoke City. Club career Simkin progressed through the Stoke City Academy and signed a professional contract in April 2022. He joined National League North side AFC Fylde in July 2022 on a one-month youth loan. In July 2023, Simkin signed a new long-term contract with Stoke and joined National League side Solihull Moors on a season long loan. Jamie Searle (born 25 November 2000) is a New Zealand footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Eastbourne Borough. Luke Daniels
Luke Matthew Daniels (born 5 January 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Barrow, where he also serves as goalkeeper coach. Daniels is product of the Manchester United and West Bromwich Albion academies and played much of the early years of his career away on loan from the latter club. He transferred to League One club Scunthorpe United in 2015 and served as first-choice goalkeeper until 2017, when he transferred to Championship club Brentford. Daniels held a backup role until transferring across the division to Middlesbrough in 2021. The 2023–24 FA Cup was the 143rd season of the Football Association Challenge Cup, the oldest football tournament in the world.
