2023–24 Fairleigh Dickinson Knights Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Fairleigh Dickinson Knights men's basketball team represented Fairleigh Dickinson University in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Knights, led by first-year head coach Jack Castleberry, played their home games in Hackensack, New Jersey as members of the Northeast Conference (NEC). During the season, on January 18, 2024, the name of the Knights' home venue was changed from the Rothman Center to the Bogota Savings Bank Center. Jack Castleberry
Jack Castleberry (born 1984) is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights men's basketball team. Playing career Castleberry initially walked on at VMI under coach Duggar Baucom before earning a scholarship and becoming a two-year starter and captain. Coaching career After graduation, Castleberry became an assistant coach at UT Martin for a single season before returning to his alma mater to serve as an assistant coach from 2008 to 2012. Castleberry would join the women's basketball coaching staff at Siena for two seasons, where he'd meet Tobin Anderson, then an assistant with the men's program. After leaving basketball for two seasons to become a financial planner, Castleberry reunited with Baucom at The Citadel in 2016, where he stayed on staff as an assistant until 2022. First Four
The First Four is a play-in round of the NCAA Division I men's and women's basketball tournaments. It consists of two games contested between the four lowest-ranked teams in the field (usually the four lowest-ranked conference champions), and two games contested between the four lowest-seeded "at-large" teams in the field, which determine the last four teams to qualify for the 64-team bracket that plays the first round. In 2001, the champion of the recently formed Mountain West Conference began to receive an automatic bid to the men's tournament. The Iona Gaels men's basketball team represents Iona University in New Rochelle, New York in NCAA Division I competition. Tobin Anderson (born December 1, 1971) is an Americans, American basketball coach (basketball), coach who is currently the special assistant to the head coach of the South Florida Bulls men's basketball team. 2022–23 Florida Atlantic Owls Men's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Florida Atlantic Owls men's basketball team represented Florida Atlantic University in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Owls were led by fifth-year head coach Dusty May and played their home games at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena in Boca Raton, Florida as members of Conference USA. The Owls finished the season 35–4, 18–2 in C-USA play to win the regular season championship. They defeated Western Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, and UAB to win the C-USA tournament championship.
