2023–24 FC Viktoria Plzeň Season
The 2023–24 season was the FC Viktoria Plzeň's 113th year in existence and 19th consecutive season in the Czech First League. Viktoria Plzeň started their European campaign in the second qualifying round beating Drita 2–1 and then minnows Gżira United 6–0, before defeating Tobol 5–1 in play-off round to clinch a berth to the group stage. FC Viktoria Plzeň
Football Club Viktoria Plzeň () is a Czech professional Association football, football club based in Plzeň. It plays in the Czech First League, the top division of football in the country. As runner-up in the 1970–71 Czechoslovak Cup, the club competed in the following season's Cup Winners' Cup – the winner Spartak Trnava also won the championship and played in the European Cup. In 2010, Viktoria Plzeň competed in the UEFA Europa League after it won the 2009–10 Czech Cup. Ibrahim Benjamin Traoré (born 16 September 1988) is an Ivorian retired professional footballer who played as a midfielder. After his active career, he started to work as a scout. Club career Traoré began his career with Ivorian clubs CO Korhogo and AS Tanda, before signing for Al-Ahly Benghazi of the Libyan Premier League in 2013.
