The 2023–24 Evansville Purple Aces men's basketball team represented the University of Evansville during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Purple Aces, led by second-year head coach David Ragland, played their home games at the Ford Center (Evansville), Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana as members of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC). David Ragland
David Ragland (born April 28, 1981) is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Evansville Aces men's basketball team. Playing career Ragland attended his first two years of college at Missouri Southern State, competing on the men's basketball team before transferring home to play for Southern Indiana. Coaching career Ragland began his coaching career in the junior college ranks, starting at Frank Phillips College in Borger, Texas as an assistant coach for one season before moving on to Vincennes, where he'd serve as an assistant for three seasons before being elevated to head coach for two seasons, going 44–19. In 2010, Ragland would move to the Division I ranks, joining Greg Lansing's staff at Indiana State. He'd then join Bowling Green and Northern Kentucky as an assistant coach for back-to-back seasons, before landing on the coaching staff at Valparaiso. The Kentucky Wesleyan College Panthers men's basketball team represents Kentucky Wesleyan College, a private college located in Owensboro, Kentucky. The Panthers compete in the NCAA Division II as a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC), They have won the NCAA Division II men's basketball tournament, NCAA Division II tournament eight times, most recently in the year 2001. Tipton is a city in and the county seat of Tipton County, Indiana, United States. The population was estimated to be 5,275 as of July 1, 2021. Evansville Day School
Evansville Day School (EDS) is a private, Jr. PreK-12 college-preparatory school located in Evansville, Indiana in the United States. It is the only independent, coeducational day school in Evansville and the surrounding region. To accommodate a wide range of grade levels, the school is separated into three divisions: Primary School (Jr. PreK-4), Middle School (5-8), and Upper School (9-12).
