2023–24 DePaul Blue Demons Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 DePaul Blue Demons men's basketball team represented DePaul University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by third-year head coach Tony Stubblefield for the first 18 games of the season. They played their home games at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, as members of the Big East Conference. They finished the season 3–29, 0–20 in 2023–24 Big East Conference men's basketball season, Big East play to finish in last place and with the worst record in program history. They lost to 2023–24 Villanova Wildcats men's basketball team, Villanova in the first round of the 2024 Big East men's basketball tournament, Big East tournament. Tony Stubblefield
Anthony Gerard Stubblefield (born March 28, 1970) is an American college basketball coach who is currently an assistant for the University of Oregon men's basketball team. He previously served as the head men's basketball coach at DePaul Blue Demons men's basketball, DePaul University. He was previously an assistant for the University of Cincinnati and New Mexico State University, where he also served as interim head coach during the 2004–2005 season due to Lou Henson's illness. Playing career Stubblefield starred at Broomfield (Colorado) High School and played two seasons at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming before transferring to Omaha Mavericks men's basketball, Nebraska–Omaha for his final two years of eligibility. The 2022–23 Seton Hall Pirates men's basketball team represented Seton Hall University in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by first-year head coach Shaheen Holloway. The Pirates played their home games at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and Walsh Gymnasium in South Orange, New Jersey as members of the Big East Conference. Nick Ongenda
Nick Ongenda (born September 29, 2000) is a Canadian professional basketball player for Anwil Włocławek of the Polish Basketball League (PLK). He played college basketball for the DePaul Blue Demons. High school career Ongenda attended the Southwest Christian Academy at Little Rock, Arkansas, averaging 14 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks and three assists for the Lions during his senior season, earning a 2019 NACA All-American selection. College career Ongenda played college basketball at DePaul, averaging 5.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in 18.8 minutes while shooting at a 52.9 percent clip. Yor Anei (born December 7, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Windy City Bulls of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, the SMU Mustangs and the DePaul Blue Demons.
