The 2023–24 Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team represented Creighton University in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bluejays, coached by 14th-year head coach Greg McDermott, played their home games at the CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska as members of the Big East Conference. Greg McDermott (born November 25, 1964) is an American basketball coach who has been the head coach of the Creighton Bluejays men's basketball, Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team since 2010. Previously, McDermott served as the head coach at Wayne State Wildcats men's basketball, Wayne State College, North Dakota State Bison men's basketball, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa Panthers men's basketball, Northern Iowa, and Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball, Iowa State. The 2022–23 Xavier Musketeers men's basketball team represented Xavier University during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season as a member of the Big East Conference. Led by Sean Miller in the first season of his second stint after coaching the Musketeers from 2004 to 2009, they played their home games at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Musketeers finished the season 23–8, 15–5 in Big East play to finish in second place. In the Big East tournament, they defeated DePaul and Creighton to reach the championship game, where they were defeated by Marquette. The Seattle Redhawks men's basketball team represents Seattle University in NCAA Division I basketball competition. Established in 1946, the team was previously known as the Seattle Chieftains. The program experienced success during the 1950s and 1960s, reaching the NCAA Division I tournament eleven times. Ryan Nembhard (born March 10, 2003) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Texas Legends of the NBA G League.
