2023–24 Coastal Athletic Association Men's Basketball Season
The 2023–24 CAA men's basketball season was the 38th season of Coastal Athletic Association basketball, taking place between November 2023 and March 2024. The season ended with the 2024 CAA men's basketball tournament. This was the first season for the conference under the Coastal Athletic Association name. On July 20, 2023, the CAA announced it had changed its name from the Colonial Athletic Association to the Coastal Athletic Association. Martin Ingelsby
Martin Ingelsby (born November 24, 1978) is an American college basketball coach and the current head coach for the University of Delaware. Ingelsby played basketball at Archbishop Carroll High School and Notre Dame. He was a standout point guard, starting for three seasons for the Fighting Irish. Following the close of his college career, Inglesby pursued a coaching career, landing at Wagner for one season before returning to his alma mater as the coordinator of basketball operations in 2003. In 2009, he was promoted to a full assistant on Mike Brey's staff. On May 24, 2016, Ingelsby was named the 24th head coach in Delaware history. Bill Coen
Bill Coen (born May 3, 1961) is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at the Northeastern University (Boston, Massachusetts), Northeastern University. He was previously an assistant coach under Al Skinner at Boston College and University of Rhode Island, Rhode Island. The Vanderbilt Commodores men's basketball team represents Vanderbilt University in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Commodores have won three SEC regular-season titles (1965, 1974 and 1993) and two SEC Tournament championships (1951 and 2012). King David Rice (born December 14, 1968) is an American basketball coach and former player. He is the head men's basketball coach at Monmouth University. Rice replaced Dave Calloway as head coach of the Hawks on March 29, 2011. Previously, Rice was also the head coach of the Bahamas national basketball team from 2001 to 2004. The Hofstra Pride men's basketball team, known until 2000 as the Hofstra Flying Dutchmen, is the basketball team that represents Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, United States. Hofstra played its first game in 1936, and currently competes in the Coastal Athletic Association. Speedy Claxton
Craig Elliott "Speedy" Claxton (born May 8, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player and the current head coach of the Hofstra University men's basketball team. Claxton won an NBA championship in 2003 as a member of the San Antonio Spurs. The Hampton Pirates basketball team is the men's basketball team that represents Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, United States. The Pirates compete in the Coastal Athletic Association. Billy Taylor (born June 12, 1973) is an American college basketball coach. He is the current head coach for the Elon Phoenix men's basketball team.
