2023–24 Charlotte 49ers Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Charlotte 49ers men's basketball team represented the University of North Carolina at Charlotte during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team, led by first-year head coach Aaron Fearne, played their home games at Dale F. Halton Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina, in their first season as members in the American Athletic Conference. Previous season The 49ers finished the 2022–23 season with a record of 22–14, 9–11 in C-USA play to finish in fifth place. As the #5 seed in the C-USA Tournament, they would be defeated by #4 seed Middle Tennessee in the quarterfinals. The BYU Cougars men's basketball team represents Brigham Young University in NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship, NCAA Division I basketball play. It currently competes in the Big 12 Conference. The Nebraska Cornhuskers men's basketball team competes as part of NCAA Division I, representing the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in the Big Ten Conference. Early life and high school Coming out of high school, Williams committed to play college basketball for the Charlotte 49ers over other schools such as Bucknell, Charlotte, George Mason, Lafayette, St. Bonaventure and Wake Forest. DeSoto, Texas
DeSoto is a city in Dallas County, Texas, United States. DeSoto is a suburb of Dallas and is part of the Best Southwest area, which includes DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Duncanville, and Lancaster. History The area was first settled in 1847, making it one of the oldest communities in North Texas.
