2023–24 Central Michigan Chippewas Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Central Michigan Chippewas men's basketball team represented Central Michigan University in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Chippewas, led by third-year head coach Tony Barbee, played their home games at McGuirk Arena in Mount Pleasant, Michigan as members of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). They finished the regular season 18–13, 12–6 in MAC play, to finish in fourth place. They lost Bowling Green in the first round of the MAC tournament. Previous season The Chippewas finished the 2022–23 season 10–21, 5–13 MAC play, to finish in a tie for ninth place. They failed to qualify for the MAC tournament. Tony Barbee
Anthony Michael Barbee (born August 10, 1971) is an American college basketball coach, who was most recently the head coach at the Central Michigan Chippewas men's basketball, Central Michigan. He was previously head coach at Auburn Tigers men's basketball, Auburn and UTEP Miners men's basketball, UTEP. Barbee led UTEP to a Conference USA championship in 2010 and was named Conference USA Coach of the Year. Barbee played college basketball for UMass Minutemen basketball, Massachusetts under John Calipari, winning two Atlantic 10 Conference, Atlantic 10 regular season and Atlantic 10 men's basketball tournament, tournament championships in 1992 and 1993. Incarnate Word Cardinals Men's Basketball
The Incarnate Word Cardinals men's basketball team represents the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, United States. They are currently led by second-year head coach Shane Heirman. The Cardinals have never appeared in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Beginning in 2013, the Cardinals made the jump to NCAA Division I and joined the Southland Conference. Valparaiso Beacons Men's Basketball
The Valparaiso Beacons men's basketball team represents Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. The basketball team competes in the Missouri Valley Conference, having joined that league in 2017 after 10 seasons in the Horizon League. The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers men's basketball team is the men's basketball team that represents Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference. Tony Dunkin, a former Chanticleer, is the only men's basketball player in NCAA Division I history to be named the conference player of the year all four seasons he played. Taylor University is a Private university, private, Interdenominationalism, interdenominational, evangelical Christian university in Upland, Indiana. Founded in 1846, it is one of the oldest evangelical Christian universities in the United States. Dansville is a village in Ingham County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is centered along M-36 within Ingham Township about southeast of downtown Lansing. The population was 529 at the 2020 census. History As far as European settlement is concerned, the area that is now the village of Dansville was originally settled by Samuel Crossman in 1844, who, like many settlers at the time, had come from the state of New York in search of a new life.
