2023–24 California Baptist Lancers Women's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 California Baptist Lancers women's basketball team represented California Baptist University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Lancers, led by twelfth-year head coach Jarrod Olson, played their home games at the Fowler Events Center in Riverside, California as members of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). The Lancers finished the season 28–4, 18–2 in WAC play, to finish as WAC regular-season champions. They defeated UT Arlington and Stephen F. Austin to win the WAC tournament championship, sending the Lancers to their first-ever NCAA tournament. In the NCAA tournament, they received the #15 seed in the Albany Regional 2, where they fell to #2 region seed UCLA in the first round. 2023 WAC Women's Basketball Tournament
The 2023 WAC women's basketball tournament is the postseason women's basketball tournament of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) for the 2022–23 season. The conference tournament was scheduled to be played from March 7–11, 2023, at Michelob ULTRA Arena and the Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada near Las Vegas. The first round was played on March 6 at Michelob ULTRA Arena with the remaining rounds March 8–11 at the Orleans Arena. The winner of the conference tournament received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Seeds Twelve of the thirteen members were invited to the tournament. While Tarleton and Utah Tech were ineligible for the NCAA tournament, they were eligible for the WAC tournament. University High School, often referred to as "U-Hi" or "U-High", is a public high school for grades nine through twelve in Spokane Valley, Washington, United States. 2023 Women's Basketball Invitational
The 2023 Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI) is a single-elimination tournament consisting of eight NCAA Division I teams not selected to participate in the 2023 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament or 2023 Women's National Invitation Tournament. The 2023 field was announced on March 13. The 2023 edition of the tournament was played on the campus of Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky at the Clive M. Beck Center. This was the third year in a row the tournament consisted of an eight-team field played over four days, with a winners and consolation bracket, guaranteeing three games for all teams.
