The 2023–24 season was the 22nd season in the history of AFC Wimbledon and their second consecutive season in League Two. The club participated in League Two, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the 2023–24 EFL Trophy. AFC Wimbledon is an English professional association football club based in Wimbledon, London, Wimbledon, London Borough of Merton, London. Nikola Chivarov Tzanev (born 23 December 1996) is a New Zealand professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Newport County and the New Zealand national team. Tzanev is a product of the Brentford Academy and began his professional career with the club. He began his senior career with AFC Wimbledon in 2017 and by 2021, had established himself as the club's first-choice goalkeeper. Kofi Balmer
Kofi Balmer (born 19 September 2000) is a Northern Irish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Motherwell. He has won caps for Northern Ireland up to under-21 level. Balmer made his debut in the NIFL Premiership with Ballymena United in April 2017, aged only 16. He spent just over four seasons with the club, playing on the losing side in the 2018 County Antrim Shield, 2018 Northern Ireland Football League Cup, and 2020 Irish Cup finals. He was named Ulster Young Footballer of the Year for the 2018–19 season. Upon joining Larne in 2021, he turned professional and would win the County Antrim Shield the following year. Lee James Brown (born 10 August 1990) is an English former professional footballer who played as a left-back. Huseyin Biler (born 26 February 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for TFF 2. Lig club Mardin 1969 SK.
