2023 UCI Road World Championships – Women's Road Race
The women's road race of the 2023 UCI Road World Championships was a cycling event that took place on 13 August 2023 in Balloch, Great Britain. The race was won by Belgian Lotte Kopecky for the first time. Qualification Qualification was based mainly on the UCI World Ranking by nations as of 30 June 2023. 2023 UCI Road World Championships
The 2023 UCI Road World Championships were the 96th edition of the UCI Road World Championships, the annual world championships for road bicycle racing. There were held between 5 and 13 August 2023 in Scotland, as part of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships. A total of thirteen events were held, consisting of six road races (all finishing in Glasgow city centre), six individual time trials (starting and finishing in Stirling) and a team time trial mixed relay (also held in Glasgow). Anna Shackley (born 17 May 2001) is a British former road and track cyclist from Scotland, who competed professionally between 2021 and 2024 for UCI Women's WorldTeam .
