2023 Tour Of Flanders (men's Race)
The 107th edition of the Tour of Flanders one-day cycling classic took place on 2 April 2023, as the 14th event of the 2023 UCI World Tour. The race began in Bruges and covered on the way to the finish in Oudenaarde. It was the second Monument of the 2023 cycling season. The race was won by Tadej Pogačar of , becoming only the third rider in history to win both the Tour de France and the Tour of Flanders. After attacking on the second ascent of Oude Kwaremont and Koppenberg to force a selection, Pogačar attacked on the last ascent of the Oude Kwaremont with around 18 kilometres remaining to drop his rivals, soloing the remainder of the race to win his third different cycling monument and fourth overall. Second place went to last year's winner, Mathieu van der Poel of , 16 seconds behind the Slovenian. 2023 UCI World Tour
The 2023 UCI World Tour was a series of races that include thirty-five road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2023 in men's road cycling, 2023 cycling season. The tour started with the 2023 Tour Down Under, Tour Down Under on 17 January, and concluded with the 2023 Tour of Guangxi, Tour of Guangxi on 17 October. Known for his prowess in the mountains, he is the two-time defending winner of Paris–Nice. Alfred Brockwell Wright (born 13 June 1999) is a British racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Originally from south east London, Wright moved to Manchester at the age of 18 to join the British Cycling Senior Academy, with a focus on the track. In August 2019, Wright joined UCI WorldTeam as a stagiaire for the second half of the season. In November 2019 it was announced that Wright was joining the team, later renamed as for the 2020 season. Kasper Asgreen (born 8 February 1995) is a Danish cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Asgreen won the 2021 Tour of Flanders (men's race), 2021 Tour of Flanders by defeating Mathieu van der Poel in a sprint finish. Early life Asgreen was born in Kolding in the south of Denmark. He competed in dressage up to the age of 14, before joining Kolding Cycling Club. Career Asgreen signed for Danish Continental cycling team in 2016.
