2023 League1 Ontario Season
The 2023 Men's League1 Ontario season was the ninth of League1 Ontario, a Division 3 men's soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. Following the 2023 season, the league will split into three divisions with promotion and relegation between them. Simcoe County Rovers FC were the league champions, having defeated Scrosoppi FC in the final to capture their first title. Clubs With the exception of Pickering FC, 21 of the 22 clubs that took part in the 2022 season participated in 2023. Because of the format changes planned for the following year, the league imposed a one-year moratorium on any new teams joining the league. League1 Ontario
League1 Ontario (L1ON) is a semi-professional men's soccer league in Ontario, Canada. The league is sanctioned by the Canadian Soccer Association and the Ontario Soccer Association. League1 Ontario consists of three tiers – League1 Premier, League1 Championship, and League2 Ontario – with promotion and relegation between them. The top-two tiers consist of 12 teams each, while the lowest tier is uncapped in size. Darren Tilley (born 15 March 1967) is an English football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach for Burlington SC. Playing career York City Tilley was born in Keynsham, Somerset.
