2023 AFL Women's All-Australian Team
The 2023 AFL Women's All-Australian team represents the best-performed players of the 2023 AFL Women's season. The team was announced on 27 November 2023 as a complete women's Australian rules football team of 21 players. The team is honorary and does not play any games. Selection panel The selection panel for the AFL Women's season seven All-Australian team consisted of chairwoman Nicole Livingstone, Andrew Dillon, Laura Kane, Jason Bennett, Kelli Underwood, Sarah Black, Katie Loynes, Narelle Smith and Megan Waters. Alexandra Anderson (born 25 March 1994) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Brisbane Lions in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Anderson was part of the Brisbane team that won the AFL Women's premiership in 2021 and won the AFL Women's season seven best and fairest award. She is also a dual Brisbane best and fairest winner and was named in the 2019 AFL Women's All-Australian team. Charlie Rowbottom (born 22 January 2003) is an Australian rules footballer playing for Gold Coast in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Early life Rowbottom grew up in Melbourne and first played Australian rules football in year eight at Loreto Mandeville Hall. She proceeded to play junior football for the East Malvern Knights of the South Metro Junior Football League, and shortly thereafter accepted a position in the Oakleigh Chargers girls teams. Daisy D'Arcy (born 12 December 2002) is an Australian rules footballer playing for Gold Coast in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). Early life D'Arcy grew up in Townsville and attended The Cathedral School throughout her upbringing. Her first sporting interests were split between rugby and soccer but her mother forced her to begin playing Australian rules football for the first time in 2017. A talented junior athlete, she represented Queensland in Australian rules football, cricket, rugby sevens and soccer. Georgie Prepasakis (born 13 March 2003) is an Australian rules footballer playing for Geelong Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Early life Prespakis is the daughter of Damien and Jody. Her mother is an Indigenous Australian from the Djadjawurrung tribe. Prespakis has three siblings: twins Annalea and Madison, and Jimmy. Older sister Madison currently plays for Essendon. She played junior football with the boys in Romsey, crossing to Sunbury to play in the under-18 girls' competition.
