2023–24 Men's England Hockey League Season
The 2023–24 Men's England Hockey League season was the 2023–24 season of England's field hockey league structure and England Hockey Men's Championship Cup for men. The season started on 16 September 2023. Old Georgians were the defending league and cup champions, having won the league and cup double twice during the last two seasons. Old Georgians secured a third successive league championship defeating Surbiton 3-1 in the play off final. Beeston regained the England Hockey Men's Championship Cup that they last won in 2020. Men's England Hockey League
The Men's England Hockey League is a field hockey league organised by England Hockey that features men's teams from England and Wales. Format Regular season There are 62 teams in the league, the top tier consists of a Premier Division of twelve teams. Below this is tier two, which consists of two ten-team Division One regional teams (North and South). The third tier consists of three regional conferences North, West, and East, all consisting of ten teams. The teams play each other home and away during an 18 week season from September to April. The league has a winter break between December and February. The winners of the Premier Division regular season automatically qualify to play in the Euro Hockey League. Nottingham Hockey Centre
Nottingham Hockey Centre previously called the Highfields Hockey Centre (and Highfields Sports Club originally), is a sports venue located in Nottingham. It is the premier field hockey venue in the Midlands and is one of the biggest hockey facilities in Europe. The centre has six pitches consisting of the original four pitches (two nylon waterbase pitches, one sand dressed pitch and one half sized sand based pitch) and the two new blue Tiger Turf hockey pitches built by Nottingham High School in 2020. The clubhouse includes 16 changing rooms and hospitality including a conference room and an area called the Stick and Pitcher Bar. Trent Park
Trent Park is an English country house in north London, accompanied by its former extensive grounds. The original great house, along with several statues and other structures within the grounds, such as the Orangery, are Grade II listed buildings. The site is designated as Metropolitan Green Belt, lies within a conservation area, and is also included at Grade II within the Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England. Sonning Lane
Sonning Lane is a cricket and hockey ground in Sonning near Reading, Berkshire, England. It is located on a road called ''Sonning Lane'' between the A4 road and the village of Sonning, hence the name. Sonny Lane is the home of Reading Cricket Club. In 1988 Berkshire played Cornwall in the grounds' first Minor Counties Championship match, and the county side has continued to play there regularly since. Caterham School
Caterham School is a private co-educational day and boarding school located in Caterham, Surrey and a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference. History Caterham School was founded as the Congregational School in 1811 in Lewisham, by John Townsend to provide a boarding education for the sons of Congregational Ministers. Oxted is a town and civil parish in the Tandridge District, Tandridge district of Surrey, England. St George's Weybridge is an independent mixed Roman Catholic co-educational Josephite day school in Surrey, taking pupils from 3 to 18. St George's Weybridge is made up of St George's Junior School (3–11) and St George's College (11–18).
