2022–23 Watford F.C. Season
The 2022–23 season was the 124th season in the existence of Watford Football Club and the club's first season back in the Championship since the 2020–21 following their relegation from the Premier League last season. In addition to the league, they will also compete in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup. Watford () is a town and non-metropolitan district with Borough status in the United Kingdom, borough status in Hertfordshire, England, northwest of Central London, on the banks of the River Colne, Hertfordshire, River Colne. Mario Gaspar Pérez Martínez (; born 24 November 1990) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for La Liga club Elche. He spent 15 years of his career at Villarreal, making 424 official appearances and winning the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League. In July 2022, he signed with Watford.
