2022–23 Washington Huskies Men's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Washington Huskies men's basketball team represented the University of Washington in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Huskies, led by sixth-year head coach Mike Hopkins, played their home games at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion in Seattle, Washington as members of the Pac-12 Conference. Mike Hopkins (basketball)
Michael Griffith Hopkins (born August 6, 1969) is an American basketball assistant coach for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Previously, he was a longtime assistant at Syracuse University before taking over as a college basketball head coach for University of Washington from 2017 until 2024. The 6-foot-5 Hopkins, from Laguna Hills, California, was a fan favorite during his playing days at Syracuse, known for his all-out hustle and general scrappy play. The 2021–22 USC Trojans men's basketball team represented the University of Southern California during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Seattle Redhawks men's basketball team represents Seattle University in NCAA Division I basketball competition. Established in 1946, the team was previously known as the Seattle Chieftains. The program experienced success during the 1950s and 1960s, reaching the NCAA Division I tournament eleven times.
