2022–23 UConn Huskies Men's Ice Hockey Season
The 2022–23 UConn Huskies men's ice hockey season was the 63rd season of play for the program, the 25th at the NCAA Division I, Division I level, and the 2022–23 Hockey East men's ice hockey season, 9th in Hockey East. The Huskies represented the University of Connecticut and were coached by Mike Cavanaugh, in his 10th season. Season After one of the best seasons in the history of the program, Mike Cavanaugh knew he would have a difficult time getting Connecticut to match the same level of success in 2023. With nearly half of the roster changing, UConn would need to replace not only its starting goaltender but three of its top four scorers as well. Logan Terness, who had played in just a single last year, would have to battle with freshman Arsenii Sergeev for the starting job. The Western Michigan Broncos men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I (NCAA), Division I college ice hockey program that represents Western Michigan University. Norwell, Massachusetts
Norwell is a town in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 11,351 at the 2020 United States census. The town's southeastern border runs along the North River. History Norwell was first settled in 1634 as a part of the settlement of Satuit (later Scituate), which encompassed present-day Scituate and Norwell. It was officially created in 1849 and soon became known as South Scituate. Artem Shlaine (born 7 March 2002) is a Russian professional ice hockey centre for the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League (AHL). Early life Shlaine was born to Dmitri and Ekaterina Shlaine, and has a brother, Daniel. He attended Shattuck-Saint Mary's in Faribault, Minnesota. He was drafted in the fifth round, 130th overall, by the New Jersey Devils in the 2020 NHL entry draft. The Reading Royals are a professional ice hockey team that currently plays in the ECHL. The team participates in the North Division of the ECHL's Eastern Conference.
