Sydney Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Sydney, New South Wales. It competes in the country's premier men's competition, A-League Men, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). The club was founded in 2004 and entered the A-League as one of the eight original teams for the inaugural 2005–06 season. Diego Caballo Alonso (born 17 February 1994) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for AaB as a left-back for Danish Superliga club AaB. Club career Caballo was born in Salamanca, Castile and León, and joined Real Madrid's youth setup in 2009, from UD Salamanca. Anthony Caceres
Anthony Richard Caceres (born 29 September 1992) is an Australian association football player who plays as a central midfielder for Sydney FC. Career Central Coast Mariners Caceres made his A-League debut for the Central Coast Mariners in the F3 Derby against the Newcastle Jets, starting in a scoreless draw in January 2013. He scored his first goal for the club one year and two days later, again against the Jets, making a run from halfway and shooting from outside the area to open the scoring in a 3–0 win. Patrick James Wood (born 16 September 2002) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a striker for A-League club Sydney FC. Wood played youth soccer with Collaroy Cromer Strikers, Manly United and Sydney FC Youth before starting his professional career with Sydney FC. Early life Wood attended St Paul's College, Manly. Róbert Mak (; born 8 March 1991) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a winger for Sydney FC and the Slovakia national team. Jack Christian Rodwell (born 11 March 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays for Sydney FC as a centre-back or defensive midfielder. Rodwell joined Everton's academy at the age of seven, and made his debut in 2007. He spent five years in the first team before he transferred to Premier League champions Manchester City in 2012. Alexander William Wilkinson (born 13 August 1984) is an Australian international football (soccer) player who plays as a central defender and is the captain for Sydney FC in the A-League.
