The 2022–23 season is the 19th season in the history of the Scarlets, a Welsh regional rugby union side based in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. Dwayne Peel
Dwayne John Peel (born 31 August 1981) is a Welsh rugby union coach and former player. He was the most capped scrum-half for the Wales national rugby union team with 76 caps, until his record was surpassed by Mike Phillips on 16 March 2013. Youth and early career Peel was born in Carmarthen, Wales. He started his rugby career playing for Tumble RFC at Under-8s level. He attended Ysgol Gyfun Maes-yr-Yrfa in Cefneithin, and is a fluent Welsh speaker. He made his professional club debut for Llanelli RFC before joining the Llanelli Scarlets region at its creation in 2003. Scott Williams (rugby Union)
Scott Williams (born 10 October 1990) is a Welsh international rugby union player who most recently played for the Scarlets in the United Rugby Championship. Born in Carmarthen, Williams attended Coleg Sir Gar, and is a fluent Welsh speaker. Club career Williams played for Whitland RFC before joining Llanelli RFC. In 2009, Williams joined the Scarlets. In 2018, Williams signed for the Ospreys. Williams dealt with numerous injuries over the following years, including a bulging disc. Williams rejoined the Scarlets in 2021. Johnny Williams (born 18 October 1996) is a professional rugby union player who plays as a centre for the Scarlets in the United Rugby Championship and the Wales national team. Career Williams made his debut for London Irish at the age of 18, and signed for Newcastle Falcons in May 2018 following Irish's relegation. In 2019 Williams revealed he had been diagnosed with testicular cancer, and would take time away from the game to undergo treatment. He returned to professional rugby in January 2020. Iwan Shenton
Iwan Shenton is a Welsh rugby union player who plays as a flanker for United Rugby Championship side Scarlets. Professional career Youth and amateur rugby As a youth player, Shenton played for Tonna RFC and was part of the Ospreys Academy. He also captained Cardiff Met in the BUCS Super Rugby competition. Carwyn Tuipulotu (born 28 September 2001) is a Welsh professional rugby union player, who plays Flanker and Number 8 for Top 14 side Section Paloise. Club career Youth rugby Tuipulotu was part of the Newcastle Falcons academy, and was part of the Welsh Exiles, leading to a contract with the Scarlets academy.
