2022–23 San Jose State Spartans Men's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 San Jose State Spartans men's basketball team represented San Jose State University in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by second-year head coach Tim Miles and played their games at Provident Credit Union Event Center as members of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 24–14, 10–8 in MWC play to finish in fifth place. They defeated Nevada in the quarterfinals of the MWC tournament before being falling to top-seeded San Diego State in the semifinals. The Spartans received an invitation to compete in the College Basketball Invitational, their first postseason tournament since 2011. In the opening round, they defeated Southern Indiana, marking the Spartans' first ever postseason victory, before losing to Radford in the quarterfinals. Tim Miles
Timothy Sean Miles (born August 20, 1966) is an American college basketball coach who is the current head coach of the San Jose State Spartans men's basketball team. Miles previously served as the head coach of North Dakota State University, Colorado State University and the University of Nebraska. Miles is a graduate of the University of Mary. Coaching career Early career Following his playing career at the University of Mary, Miles spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Northern State University, where the Wolves went to four NAIA II national tournaments and two national championship games. In 1995, Miles left to accept his first head coaching job at NAIA II Mayville State. In both his seasons at Mayville State, Miles led the Comets to NDCAC Championships and the NAIA II National Tournament. The Idaho Vandals men's basketball team represents the University of Idaho, located in Moscow, Idaho, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They currently compete in the Big Sky Conference. Cypress, California
Cypress is a city in northwestern Orange County, California. Its population was 50,151 as of the 2020 census. History Cypress originally was nicknamed "Waterville" due to the preponderance of artesian wells in the area, but was incorporated under the name Dairy City in 1956 by local dairy farmers as a means of staving off developers and to preserve their dairies, much like the then-neighboring cities of Dairy Valley in Cerritos and Dairyland in La Palma. Siena Saints Men's Basketball
The Siena Saints men's basketball team (formerly the Siena Indians) represents Siena College in Loudonville, New York, Loudonville, New York (state), New York, United States. The NCAA Division I program competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and the annual Franciscan Cup. The Saints are currently coached by Gerry McNamara.
