2022–23 Illinois State Redbirds Men's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Illinois State Redbirds men's basketball team represented Illinois State University during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Redbirds played their home games at Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena in Normal, Illinois as members of the Missouri Valley Conference. They were led by first-year head coach Ryan Pedon. They finished the season 11–20, 6–14 in MVC play to finish in ninth place. They lost to Northern Iowa in the opening round of the MVC tournament. Previous season The Redbirds finished the 2021–22 season 13–20, 5–13 in MVC play to finish in eighth place. Ryan Pedon
Ryan Thomas Pedon (born May 3, 1978) is an American basketball coach and former player. He is currently the head coach at Illinois State Redbirds men's basketball, Illinois State. He is known for his Ohio roots and strong recruiting. He has been a coach under notable names like John Groce and Chris Holtmann. Playing career Pedon played college basketball for College of Wooster, Wooster under head coach Steve Moore (basketball), Steve Moore. He won the Bear Award in 2000 for a player who exhibits leadership, courage and character to the team. He graduated in 2000 from Wooster with a degree in communications. Dan Muller (basketball)
Daniel Paul Muller (born February 21, 1976) is an American college basketball coach, formerly the men's basketball head coach at his alma mater Illinois State University. Biography Muller was born in Lafayette, Indiana to parents Cliff and Tricia. He attended Lafayette Central Catholic High School, graduating in 1994. After high school, Muller attended Illinois State University. On the Illinois State Redbirds men's basketball team, Muller played as a forward from 1994 to 1998 under head coach Kevin Stallings. In his sophomore season, the team finished second in the MVC regular season, and fell to Tulsa in the semifinals of the conference tournament. They earned a bid to the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), where they advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to Tulane. The Utah State Aggies men’s basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Mountain West Conference, that represents Utah State University. Mineral is a town in Louisa County, Virginia, United States. The population was 474 at the 2020 census, with a pop. density of 588.96, and a 15.1% poverty rate. The town has a very deep history of mining, which gave it the name "Mineral" in 1902 - originally, the town's name was Tolersville.
