The 2022–23 season was the 90th season in the existence of FC Red Bull Salzburg and the club's 34th consecutive season in the top flight of Football in Austria, Austrian football. Andreas Ulmer (; born 30 October 1985) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a defender. He is the former captain of Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg, where he played for sixteen seasons and won 22 trophies, and also represented the Austria national team. Mamady Diambou (born 11 November 2002) is a Malian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg and the Mali national team. Maurits Kjærgaard (born 26 June 2003) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg.
