2022–23 Eastern Washington Eagles Men's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Eastern Washington Eagles men's basketball team represented Eastern Washington University in the Big Sky Conference during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Led by second-year head coach David Riley, the Eagles played their home games on campus at Reese Court in Cheney, Washington. EWU finished the regular season at 21–10 (16–2 in Big Sky, first) to win the regular season championship. After clinching that title at 16–0 with two games remaining, they dropped three straight, including their opener of the conference tournament to ninth seed Northern Arizona in the quarterfinals. As a regular season champion who did not win their conference tournament, Eastern received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament. David Riley (basketball)
David Riley (born November 28, 1988) is an American college basketball coach and former college basketball player. Riley is the current head men’s basketball coach at Washington State University. Previously, he was the head coach at Eastern Washington University for three seasons. Playing career Riley grew up in Palo Alto, California. He played college basketball at Whitworth University under Jim Hayford. While starting for the Pirates, Riley was a three-time All-Northwest Conference first-team selection and finished his career ranked fourth all-time in points with 1,664 along with making four NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament appearances, including two Sweet Sixteens and an Elite Eight. Coaching career When Hayford accepted the head coaching position at Eastern Washington, Riley followed as a graduate assistant coach. The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) Spartans men's basketball team represents the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in NCAA Division I. The school's team currently competes in the Southern Conference. History The school, formerly The Women's College of The University of North Carolina, allowed male students beginning 1965-66 and started a men's basketball program the following year. The first coach was an instructor in the Physical Education program, the assistant was an administrator in the Chancellor's office, with some limited experience from the University of Kansas basketball program. The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball program represents intercollegiate men's basketball at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Copleston High School
Copleston High School is a secondary school for ages 11–18 in Ipswich, England. It is an academy, and caters for around 1,800 students, as well as between 340-370 students in the sixth form which was shared with Holywells High School until 2011. A 2009 Ofsted inspection rated its overall performance as good with outstanding features. A following Ofsted inspection in 2018 awarded them with a 'good' rating.
