2022–23 Dartmouth Big Green Women's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Dartmouth Big Green women's basketball team represented Dartmouth College during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Big Green, led by second-year head coach Adrienne Shibles, played their home games at Leede Arena in Hanover, New Hampshire and were members of the Ivy League. They finished the season at 2–26, 0–14 to finish in last place. The Big Green failed to qualify for the 2023 Ivy League women's basketball tournament, Ivy League women's tournament. Previous season Dartmouth finished the 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's basketball season, 2021–22 season 3–23, 2–12 in Ivy League play, to finish in seventh place. Adrienne Shibles
Adrienne Shibles is a former American women's basketball coach who was most recently head coach of the Dartmouth Big Green women's basketball team. Currently Shibles is the associate director of athletics at Bates College in Maine. Playing career Shibles played collegiately at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. At Bates, she scored more than 1,000 career points. Coaching career Bowdoin She coached the Bowdoin Polar Bears women's basketball team to a 281-68 (.805) record, two New England Small College Athletic Conference championships, 11 NCAA Tournament appearances, and back-to-back NCAA Division III title game appearances. Shibles stepped down in May of 2021 and left Bowdoin as the winningest coach in the programs history.
