2022–23 Clemson Tigers Women's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Clemson Tigers women's basketball team represented Clemson University during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I women's basketball season, 2022–23 college basketball season. The Tigers were led by fifth year head coach Amanda Butler. The Tigers, members of the Atlantic Coast Conference, played their home games at Littlejohn Coliseum. The Tigers finished the season 19–16 and 7–11 in 2022–23 Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball season, ACC play to finish in tenth place. As the tenth seed in the 2023 ACC women's basketball tournament, ACC tournament, they defeated fifteenth seed 2022–23 Pittsburgh Panthers women's basketball team, Pittsburgh in the First Round before losing to seventh seed 2022–23 North Carolina Tar Heels women's basketball team, North Carolina in the Second Round. Amanda Butler
Amanda Kay Butler (born March 6, 1972) is an American college basketball coach and former player. In 2018, Butler was hired as the head coach of the Clemson Tigers women's basketball team. Prior to that, she was the head coach for the Florida Gators women's basketball team and the Charlotte 49ers women's basketball team. Career Amanda Butler was born in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, in 1972.
