2022–23 Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Basketball Season
The 2022–23 Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball season began with practices in October 2022, followed by the start of the 2022–23 NCAA Division I women's basketball season in November. Conference play started in November 2022 and concluded on February 26, 2023. After the regular season, the 2023 ACC women's basketball tournament was held at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC for the 23rd time in 24 years. Notre Dame was the regular season champions with a 15–3 conference record. Virginia Tech won the ACC Tournament title over Louisville 75–67. 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament
The 2023 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 68 teams to determine the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college basketball national champion for the 2022–23 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The 41st edition of the tournament began on March 15, 2023, and concluded on April 2 with the championship game at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Jennifer Hoover (; born October 12, 1969) is currently an assistant coach with the Virginia Tech women's basketball team. Career She was previously an assistant coach with the University of Kentucky women's basketball team since her appointment on July 11, 2022. Amaka Agugua-Hamilton (born April 13, 1983) is the current head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers women's basketball team. Tina Marie Thompson (born February 10, 1975) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. Felisha Legette-Jack (born September 4, 1966) is the current head coach of the Syracuse University's women basketball team. She previously served as the head coach at the University at Buffalo, Indiana University, and Hofstra University's women basketball teams.
