2022 Virginia Cavaliers Women's Soccer Team
The 2022 Virginia Cavaliers women's soccer team represented the University of Virginia during the 2022 NCAA Division I women's soccer season. The Cavaliers were led by head coach Steve Swanson (soccer), Steve Swanson, in his twenty third season. They played home games at Klöckner Stadium. This was the team's 37th season playing organized women's college soccer and their 35th playing in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Steve Swanson (soccer)
Steven Swanson is an American association football, soccer coach who is the head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers women's soccer team, a position he has held since 2000. Career Swanson played college soccer for the Michigan State Spartans men's soccer, Michigan State Spartans and played professionally for four seasons in the United States and Canada. He was the head coach of the Dartmouth Big Green women's soccer team from 1990 to 1995, winning two Ivy League titles and making two NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament, NCAA tournament appearances. He was the head coach of the Stanford Cardinal women's soccer team from 1996 to 1999, winning two Pac-10 Conference titles and making three NCAA tournament appearances in four years. 2021 BYU Cougars Women's Soccer Team
The 2021 BYU Cougars women's soccer team represented Brigham Young University during the 2021 NCAA Division I women's soccer season. The Cougars were coached for a 27th consecutive season by Jennifer Rockwood, who was co-coach in 1995 and became the solo head coach in 1996. Before 1995 BYU women's soccer competed as a club team and not as a member of the NCAA. Overall the Cougars have made the NCAA tournament in 21 of the 26 seasons that Rockwood has been the head coach. Joining Rockwood as assistant coaches are Brent Anderson (5th season) and Steve Magleby (4th season) with volunteer assistants Rachel Jorgensen (7th season) and McKinzie Young (9th season). The 2022 NWSL Draft was the 10th annual meeting of National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) franchises to select eligible college players. It was held on December 18, 2021, and hosted remotely by CBS Sports. Prosper, Texas
Prosper is a suburb in Collin and Denton counties in the U.S. state of Texas. Prosper is located within the Dallas-Fort Worth area. As of the 2010 census, its population was 9,423. As of 2023, the population was 37,746. History The first settlers arrived in 1846 to farm cotton in the black fertile prairie soil.
