2022 Tour Of Flanders (men's Race)
The 106th edition of the Tour of Flanders one-day cycling classic took place on 3 April 2022, as the 12th event of the 2022 UCI World Tour. The race began in Antwerp and covered on the way to the finish in Oudenaarde. 2022 UCI World Tour
The 2022 UCI World Tour was a series of races that included thirty-one road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2022 in men's road cycling, 2022 cycling season. The tour started with the 2022 UAE Tour, UAE Tour on 20 February, and concluded with the 2022 Il Lombardia, Il Lombardia on 8 October. Events The 2022 calendar was announced in the autumn of 2021. Cancelled events Due to COVID-19 pandemic, COVID-19-related logistical concerns raised by teams regarding travel to Australia (including strict quarantine requirements), the Tour Down Under (18–23 January) and the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race (30 January) were cancelled. On 8 June 2022, the Benelux Tour (29 August – 4 September) was cancelled due to a pressurised calendar. Christophe Laporte (; born 11 December 1992) is a French professional cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam . Mads Pedersen (born 18 December 1995) is a Danish professional racing cyclist, who rides for UCI WorldTeam . He has won stages in all three Grand Tours — the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, and Vuelta a España. Alfred Brockwell Wright (born 13 June 1999) is a British racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Originally from south east London, Wright moved to Manchester at the age of 18 to join the British Cycling Senior Academy, with a focus on the track. In August 2019, Wright joined UCI WorldTeam as a stagiaire for the second half of the season. In November 2019 it was announced that Wright was joining the team, later renamed as for the 2020 season. He was recruited to the team by Rod Ellingworth, the outfit's general manager, who had previously worked for the British Cycling Senior Academy.
