2022 Taça Da Liga Final
The 2022 Taça da Liga final was the final match of the 2021–22 Taça da Liga, the fifteenth season of the Taça da Liga. It was played on 29 January 2022 at Estádio Municipal de Leiria. The competition involved the 34 clubs playing in the top two tiers of the Portuguese football league system – 18 from Primeira Liga and 16 from Liga Portugal 2 – during the 2021–22 season. Reserve sides of Primeira Liga teams that played in the 2020–21 Liga Portugal 2 were excluded from the competition. The competition format suffered changes for a to accommodate a reduction in the number of participating teams, particularly from the Liga Portugal 2. Benfica and Sporting CP faced off for the second time in a rematch of the 2009 final. In the final, Sporting defeated Benfica 2–1 to earn its fourth title in their sixth final, with Benfica losing their first final. 2021–22 Taça Da Liga
The 2021–22 Taça da Liga was the fifteenth edition of the Taça da Liga (also known as Allianz Cup for sponsorship reasons), a football league cup competition organised by the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional and contested exclusively by clubs competing in the top two professional tiers of Portuguese football – the Primeira Liga and the LigaPro. It began on 26 July 2021 and concluded with the final in Leiria on 29 January 2022. Sporting CP were the holders and three-time winners, after beating Braga 1–0 in the 2021 final, and they won their fourth title after defeating Benfica 2–1 in the 2022 final. Jan Vertonghen
Jan Bert Lieve Vertonghen (; born 24 April 1987) is a Belgian former professional footballer who played as a defender. Mainly a centre-back, he also played as a left-back. Valentino Lando Lazaro (born 24 March 1996) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a wide midfielder, full-back, or winger for club Torino. Odysseas Vlachodimos (Greek: Οδυσσέας Βλαχοδήμος, born 26 April 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Newcastle United.
