North Dakota held two statewide elections in 2022: a primary election on Tuesday, June 14, and a general election on Tuesday, November 8. In addition, each North Dakota townships, township elected officers on Tuesday, March 15, and each school district would hold their elections on a date of their choosing between April 1 and June 30. Julie Fedorchak
Julie Ann Fedorchak (née Liffrig; born September 28, 1968) is an American politician serving as the United States House of Representatives, U.S. representative for North Dakota's at-large congressional district since 2025. Fedorchak is the first woman elected to the House of Representatives from North Dakota. She previously served as a member of the North Dakota Public Service Commission. North Dakota Public Service Commission
The North Dakota Public Service Commission is a constitutional agency that maintains various degrees of statutory authority over utilities, telecommunications, railroads, grain elevators, pipeline safety, and other functions in North Dakota. Established before North Dakota became a state, the Dakota Territory established a Board of Railroad Commissioners in 1885 to oversee railroads, sleeping car, and express companies. With the state's creation in 1889, the board was known as the North Dakota Board of Railroad Commissioners. The commission gained authority over the telephone companies in 1915, and over all public utilities (water, gas, steam heat, and electricity) in 1919. Ryan Rauschenberger
Ryan Rauschenberger is the former Tax Commissioner of North Dakota, the 24th person to serve in that role. Governor Jack Dalrymple appointed Rauschenberger, the son of Dalrymple's Chief of Staff Ron Rauschenberger, to the role in 2013 after the resignation of Cory Fong. Rauschenberger announced he would resign effective January 3, 2022. Alcoholism treatment While drinking on the afternoon of September 3, 2014, Rauschenberger lent his vehicle to his friend Jesse Larson, who was also intoxicated. While driving Rauschenberger's vehicle, Larson rolled the vehicle, damaging its front end. In the U.S. state of North Dakota, the agriculture commissioner, formerly known as the commissioner of agriculture, is an elected official who heads the North Dakota Department of Agriculture. The present commissioner is Doug Goehring, a Republican.
